School Closures and Delays

There may be times, usually due to severe weather conditions, when it will be necessary to cancel school for the day. School closures are based on the Salem-Keizer School District. OCS may not contact you about closures, so please check online or listen for closure announcements on local TV and radio stations. In the event that Salem-Keizer posts a two hour delay, OCS will be delayed as well. If the weather conditions at your home prevent you from arriving safely, please notify us if your child will be absent.  

Due to our year round school schedule, if Salem-Keizer schools are not in session, but the weather is inclement, we will post closure information here or contact you via email or text.
